Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a restful weekend. We had a productive weekend in St Helena as there have been many logistics to work out post fire. But a lot of fun sprinkled in too.
Most mornings consist of a coffee run to Station, Oakville Grocery or Model Bakery. We tried out the new Sam’s General Store in St Helena too - the coffee was not my favorite but the vibes were so good.
We took a few walks through the vineyards and a jaunt up and down Main Street. Vintage Home and Acres have all their late winter / early spring goodies out which is a definite spirit lifter. We also day tripped to Marin Country Mart to do a bit of shopping. Deane found a few sweaters at Sunspel and I took notes on what caught my eye. I want to be so intentional about what we acquire right now. I am a homebody and a Cancerian collector, so trying to view this all as a reset. I do love an online shop though and found a few fun pieces at The Real Real and Soft Goat. Noteworthy finds include these pants and this jacket. This Attersee bag of my dreams is also in the mail.
We stopped by Rutherford Grill last night for the caesar salad and the French dip. It’s my favorite Hillstone in Northern California and provided a much needed sense of comfort and normalcy.
Deane heads back to LA tomorrow for a few days a week for work and I am prepping for clients. Since the St Helena studio is now my focus, I have been replenishing product and making the space extra cozy. I had an exciting call this morning with a brand I will now be using in treatments - it’s amazing! And on another note - I am rereading Evergreen by Lydia Millen. I have watched her Youtube videos for years and admire her approach to life. Highly recommend this sweet book.
Sending all my love and warm wishes.
